Yes — PriceTillt is completely free to download and use. There are no subscriptions, no premium tiers, and no hidden charges. We believe everyone should be able to save money on their groceries.
We currently cover all major UK supermarkets including Aldi, Lidl, Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Waitrose, M&S, Iceland, and more. We're continually adding new stores — if you'd like to see a specific retailer added, let us know.
PriceTillt currently covers the United Kingdom. Prices shown are national prices — we don't yet account for regional price variations within the UK, though this is something we're working on.
We don't sell your data or show you ads. We may earn a small referral fee if you click through to a supermarket's website and make a purchase — but this never influences the prices or rankings we show you. Our goal is always to show you the cheapest option, full stop.
There are two ways to add items:
Tap the barcode icon in the search bar to open the scanner. Point your camera at any product barcode and PriceTillt will instantly look up the product and compare prices across all stores. You'll need to grant the app camera permission the first time you use it.
Tap the heart icon (❤️) on any product to save it to your favourites. You can view all your saved products from the Favourites section (heart icon in the top right of the home screen). This makes it quick to check prices on the products you buy regularly.
Tap the Coupons tab at the bottom of the app. Here you'll find the latest vouchers, in-store deals, and promotional offers from supermarkets. We update these regularly so check back often.
Yes — if you're signed in to your account, your basket and favourites are saved automatically. You can come back to them any time, on any device.
We work hard to keep prices as accurate and up to date as possible. Prices are updated regularly from each supermarket's data. However, prices can change at any time and may vary slightly from what you see in store or online — always check the final price at the till.
Prices are updated frequently — typically daily for most products. Some prices may lag slightly behind real-time changes, particularly for flash sales or very recent price changes.

If you spot a consistent inaccuracy, please report it to us and we'll look into it.
We're working on including loyalty card prices (such as Clubcard, Nectar, and More Card prices). Currently, prices shown are standard shelf prices without loyalty discounts applied. We'll update this page when loyalty pricing is available.
Try searching with different keywords — for example "semi-skimmed milk 2L" instead of just "milk". You can also try scanning the barcode directly. If you still can't find it, let us know and we'll do our best to add it.
No — you can use PriceTillt to search and compare prices without creating an account. However, creating a free account lets you save your basket, sync favourites across devices, and access your shopping history.
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar, then tap Sign up. You can register with your email address. It's free and takes less than a minute.
On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email address. We'll send you a link to reset your password. Check your spam folder if you don't see the email within a few minutes.
You can delete your account from the Profile → Settings → Delete account menu in the app. All your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. If you have any trouble, contact us and we'll handle it for you.

Updates are available through the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Search for "PriceTillt" and tap Update if one is available. We recommend enabling automatic updates so you always have the latest version.
